Growing up in the small mountain town of Carbondale Colorado, I have always had a great love for the beauty of nature. I consider myself a Jill of all trades. I'll try anything that I can do with my hands. I've worked as a baker, as well as a furniture maker. I love to build things, capture things, and make things. I consider myself a ho
Growing up in the small mountain town of Carbondale Colorado, I have always had a great love for the beauty of nature. I consider myself a Jill of all trades. I'll try anything that I can do with my hands. I've worked as a baker, as well as a furniture maker. I love to build things, capture things, and make things. I consider myself a hobbyist. I crochet, cook, I've worked in fashion design, as a fashion model, I paint, I illustrate, ect. I've never had a specific "thing" that is mine. I've always envied the little kid who knew what they wanted to be when they grow up, or the artist who was obsessed with a certain color or shape. I like to dabble and am not a pro. at anything. Regardless of the form I'm using, I am an artist. I seek beauty, and feeling. Inspired by nature, femininity, texture, and relationships.

For me, making art is about the act of making. I work primarily with ink and paint. I love the detail and feeling you can get with just a thin line of a single color. I could play for days with only one pen. I love the feel of gouache, or water color paint as it goes onto a surface. Thin or thick, watered down, mixed, or straight. Paintin

I can't help but pull my relationships into my work. The people in my life are very influential in what I create. Trying to capture a feeling, moment, or person, through line and color. I am really attracted to the awe inspiring beauty and imperfection of nature. Combining feeling, botany, and femininity, I try to understand my world.
